Celebration of Life for Vickie Reffitt will be held April 25

A Celebration of Life for Vickie Reffitt will be held on April 25  from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Patriot Public House, 115 W. Main St., Hillsboro, Ohio.
 
Family and friends are invited to come join us to celebrate Vickie’s life, share memories, stories, and moments that honor her life and the joy and love she brought to those around her. This will be a time of remembrance, reflection and connection as we celebrate her life. All who knew and loved Mom are welcome.

Violanda “Vickie” Reffitt, 87 of Dayton, Tenn., formerly of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2025 at Life Care of Rhea County, Tenn.

She was born in Benevento, Italy on Sept. 5, 1938, the daughter of the late Antonio Ruggiero and Angiolina (Beatrice) Ruggiero. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Orville Reffitt, and her son, Randy Reffitt.

Vickie moved to Dayton, Tenn. in 2023 after living in Hillsboro, Ohio, for many years. She was the owner and operator of numerous restaurants in Hillsboro and was well known for her cooking. She enjoyed gardening and yard work. She was of the Catholic faith.

"All who knew and loved Mom are welcome on April 25," said Sandy Pacurari, Vickie's daughter.
