Carol Sue Wilkin, 71, of Hillsboro passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2023 at her home.
She was born July 12, 1951 near Bainbridge, the daughter of the late Delmer “Doc” and Ethel Carroll Hatfield.
Sue had worked as an office manager for the Hopewell Center and was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Shawn P. Wilkin, whom she married in 1987; two sons, Adam (Rebecca) Wilkin and Brendan (Elizabeth) Wilkin of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, Coen, Bridget, Layne, Savannah Wilkin and Ayden Music; one brother, Ronald Carroll of Rainsboro; and two sisters, Phyllis Sadler of Norfolk, Va. and Bessie Moore of Columbus.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Hatfield.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 1 p.m. at the Barnes Cemetery, located just west of Fairview on U.S. 50. Leo Kuhn will officiate. There will be no visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Greg Wilkin Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of Lynchburg-Clay FFA, 6762 S.R. 134 South, Lynchburg, Ohio 45142.
