Carol Irene Goldie, 75, of Wilmington, passed away Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
She was born Dec. 4, 1946 in Midland, the daughter of the late Jasper and Opal Violet Fields Hayslip.
She loved to spend time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Jerry L. Goldie, whom she married on Aug. 13, 1971; three children, Rhonda Browning, Teresa Strong and Jerry Blair Goldie; six grandchildren, Alisha Stradtman, Robert Mothersole, Johnny Haddix, John Strong, Natasha Haddix and Joshua Strong; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Sherry Ferguson; a brother, Joe Hayslip; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Perdue; two brothers, Jack and Danny Hayslip; and her mother-in-law, Louise Albers.
Graveside services will be held at Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13.
