Anna Jean Butler, 74, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022 at Court House Manor in Washington Court House.
She was born Oct. 10, 1948 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Sylvester A. and Jean (Lewis) Nartker.
Anna is survived by her husband of 54 years, Timothy E. “Tim” Butler, whom she married Dec. 2, 1967 in Sugartree Ridge; two children, Richard (Tara) Butler of Hillsboro and Robin (Todd) Tira of Martinsville; four grandchildren Shelby (John) Mosley of Frankfort, Ky., Curran (Aubrie) Butler of Danville, Emily Butler of Columbus and Kylie (Logan Dye) Camp of Washington Court House; four great-grandchildren, Oaklyn, Miles, Tripp and Maverick; a sister, Patty Miller of Hillsboro; and a brother, Larry (Sandra) Nartker of Hillsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Butch, Danny and Steve Nartker.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022 at noon at the Barnes Cemetery in Fairview. Tom Napier will officiate. There will be no public visitation.
The family would like to thank the staff at Court House Manor for the loving care given to Anna during her stay there.
