Winter weather advisory in effect
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Highland and surrounding counties.
Snow is expected Sunday, with total snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches and winds will gust as high as 40 mph.
Snow will transition over to scattered snow showers this afternoon, which will continue into the evening hours.
Plan on slippery road conditions.
