Ernie B. Blankenship is a graduate of the Hillsboro High School class of 1955. Throughout his career, Ernie excelled in football and baseball. Since that time, he has shown a love and appreciation for sports. In 1959, as radio broadcaster for area football and basketball games, Ernie was dubbed and has remained the "Sports Voice of Southern Ohio."
Because of Ernie's tenure as an active director of NCB and his continued dedication to the area athletes, he is presenting $1000 scholarships to benefit local male and female student athletes.
In addition, Clear Channel Radio co-sponsors the Fairfield, Whiteoak, and Lynchburg-Clay scholarships.
NCB is pleased to make an investment in Highland and Clinton County by helping young people further their education.
Each student will receive $1,000 towards their college tuition.
