UPDATED: Georgetown OSHP Post investigating fatal crash

The Georgetown OSHP Post is investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash that occurred at 9:04 p.m. Sept. 2 on U.S. 68 in Brown County.

A 2019 Volvo tractor-trailer operated by Manjit Singh, 39, of West Chester was northbound on U.S. 68. A 2012 Chevy Cruz operated by Brenda Watson, 50, of West Union was southbound on U.S. 68. The Volvo was passing another vehicle and struck the Cruz head-on.

Watson was pronounced deceased at the scene. Singh was not injured. 

Singh was arrested and charged with aggravated vehicular manslaughter. 

The Brown County Jail indicates Singh has a holder from Homeland Security.

The crash remains under investigation.
