Two special anniversaries observed by Adena/GMC

GREENFIELD — Adena Greenfield Medical Center celebrated its 10th anniversary  on Oct. 1 with a ribbon-cutting from the Highland County Chamber of Commerce Red Coats.
    Board chairman Ron Coffey, CEO Jeff Graham and Administrator Sandy Smith welcomed a considerable crowd on hand to join in the afternoon luncheon and celebration.
    “This is a great day for Adena and a great day for Greenfield,”  Graham said. ... “It all boils down to the great people we have at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.”
    Adena Greenfield Medical Center celebrated two anniversary observances at a special community event that at the Mirabeau Street hospital. The anniversaries being observed included 25 years of service for AGMC’s Inpatient Rehab and 10 years of affiliation with Adena Health System.   
    LIFE Ambulance provided free food and refreshments for all attendees.
    “We are really excited to celebrate with the community on the occasion of our two anniversaries,” said Sandy Smith, administrator at Adena Greenfield Medical Center. “We value our role as our community’s hospital and especially value our friends and neighbors in Greenfield and the surrounding communities. It’s been a wonderful 25 years of inpatient rehab service for our area and a most successful 10 years of affiliation with Adena that has provided us with the tools to offer the most modern and high quality healthcare right here in Greenfield.”  
    Both Graham and Coffey thanked the staff and community, and praised the Adena/GAMC relationship.
