Two Israeli Embassy staff members shot to death outside Capital Jewish Museum

Two Israeli Embassy staff members were killed in a shooting outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., where the American Jewish Committee was hosting an event on Wednesday night.

The man and woman killed, identified as Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, were a “young couple about to be engaged,” according to Israel’s ambassador to the U.S., CNN (www.cnn.com) reported. 

The sole suspect was identified as 30-year-old Elias Rodriguez from Chicago, who chanted “Free Free Palestine” while in custody.

According to The Jerusalem Post (www.jpost.com,) the man who killed two Israeli embassy staff outside the Capitol Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. is an active member of a far-left Marxist, pro-Palestine group called the Party for Socialism and Liberation.

President Donald Trump condemned the murders, saying antisemitism, “hatred and Radicalism have no place in the USA.”
