The Clinton County Solid Waste Management District has announced that Clinton Memorial Hospital is the recipient of a 2010 Go-Green Grant in the amount of $741.94.  Funds received through this program will be used to offset startup costs associated with their office paper recycling initiative, including the purchase of recycling bins and promotional materials.  This program will assist CMH in reducing their overall waste, while also lowering disposal costs for their facilities.  Combined with local matching funds, the total project investment is estimated to be approximately $1,500.

The purpose of the Go-Green Grant program is to provide local businesses and non-profit organizations with the necessary resources to implement recycling and waste reduction practices in order to benefit the environment.  Along with grant funds, recipients are asked to provide matching dollars for each approved project.  For more information about these and other programs, visit the Clinton County Solid Waste Management District’s website at www.co.clinton.oh.us/solidwasterecycling .[[In-content Ad]]
