Seal-Tite to mark 125th anniversary with May 23 ceremony

In the spring of 1900, the Peck-Williamson Heating Co. commissioned its sheet metal shop in downtown Cincinnati and the Seal-Tite brand of galvanized ductwork was born. 

Galvanized sheet metal duct, pipe and fittings were needed to distribute air from central furnace systems to every room in the house. Peck – Williamson (later known as The Williamson Furnace Co.) was one of the first manufacturers of central furnace systems and decided to manufacture its own brand of galvanized ductwork.

In 1982, Seal-Tite’s manufacturing plant was moved from Cincinnati to Hillsboro. For the past 125 years, the finest HVAC technicians and craftsmen have insisted on installing Seal-Tite, galvanized duct, pipe and fittings. These contractors, their wholesalers and our customer service, shipping and manufacturing teams have contributed greatly to the growth and success of Seal-Tite.
