Sardinia Police Department placed on administrative leave

The Sardinia Police Department – five officers and the chief – has been placed on administrative leave, according to the village mayor.

Mayor Dusty Puckett announced the change on Thursday. 

The Brown County Sheriff's Office will take over law enforcement operations in the village.
