Portman hurt in bike accident | The Highland County Press

   Former southern Ohio congressman and U.S. Senate candidate Rob Portman, R-Terrace Park, is scheduled for surgery July 13 after an accident Sunday in Wyoming.
   Portman, 54, reportedly fractured his collarbone Sunday in a fall from a bicycle wreck near Jackson Hole, Wyo. He was riding with his teenage son, Will.
   "Rob has learned that it is not a good idea to try and keep up with his 18-year-old son while mountain biking," said Jessica Towhey, a Portman spokesperson.
   Portman is running against Ohio Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher, D-Cleveland, to fill the seat held by Sen. George V. Voinovich, who is retiring.[[In-content Ad]]
