OSHP OVI checkpoint results from Warren County nets 0 citations
The Ohio State Highway Patrol, with assistance from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Franklin Police Department and the Ohio Department of Transportation, conducted an OVI checkpoint on state Route 73, in the Township of Franklin, in Warren County on Sept. 12.
A total of 966 vehicles were checked, with no vehicles being diverted for suspicion of OVI.
No drivers were determined to be under the influence or arrested for OVI.
In addition to the actual checkpoint officers, additional officers from participating agencies conducted saturation patrols in the area.
Federal grant money supported the OVI checkpoint and saturation patrols.
