OSHP OVI checkpoint in Fairfax nets zero arrests

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, with assistance from the Fairfax Police Department, the Hamilton County OVI Task Force and the Ohio Department of Transportation conducted an OVI checkpoint on Wooster Pike, U.S. 50, in the Village of Fairfax, in Hamilton County on April 25 from 8-10 p.m.

A total of 279 vehicles were checked, with seven vehicles being diverted for suspicion of OVI. Zero drivers were determined to be under the influence and arrested for OVI.    

Federal grant money supported the OVI checkpoint and saturation patrols.
