OSHP investigates two-vehicle crash

Georgetown – The Georgetown Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a two-vehicle injury crash. The crash occurred on Sept. 8 at approximately 7:54 a.m. 

The crash occurred at the intersection of state Route 32 and U.S. 62, Eagle Township, Brown County.

A preliminary investigation revealed a 2024 Toyota Tacoma, operated by Noah Bentley, 29, of Wheelersburg was driving westbound on state Route 32. A 2023 Ford E-350 passenger van, operated by Kathy England, 66, of Fayetteville, was northbound on U.S. 62. The driver of the Toyota Tacoma failed to stop at a red traffic signal striking the Ford van in the intersection.

Two passengers, Timothy Phillips, 40, of Russellville and Joshua Dickson, 39, of Georgetown, were in the Ford van. All drivers and occupants were seriously injured as result of the crash. Mr. Bentley, Mr. Dickson, and Mr. Phillips were flown by medical helicopter to a local hospital for medial treatment. Mrs. England was transported by ground to Adams County Medical Center for treatment.

The traffic crash remains under investigation by the Georgetown Post.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office and Sardinia Fire and EMS.
