OSHP investigates fatal crash

The Batavia OSHP Post is investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian. The crash occurred at approximately 6:22 p.m. on April 21 on state Route 125 in Union Township, Clermont County.

The preliminary investigation revealed 2024 Tesla Model Y, operated by Prince Patel, 19, of Cincinnati, was traveling east on state Route 125. Kevin Fuller, 36, of Lafayette, Ark., was doing survey work in the two-way left-turn lane when he was struck by Patel's vehicle.

Fuller was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Patel was transported by Union Township EMS to the University of Cincinnati for minor injuries.

The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Union Township Police Department, Union Township Fire and EMS, and the Clermont County Coroner's Office.

The crash remains under investigation by the Batavia Post.
