Operation Hope to give away 50,000 pounds of food Saturday

Volunteers are needed to assist Operation Hope with a Food Pantry Alliance distribution this Saturday at Liberty Park.
Those who want to help stage the food and work through the give away continuing to bag food and some to help carry to cars should be there at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday Aug. 28. Volunteers will be needed throughout the event, so people who come late can still contribute. The ministry program starts at 6 p.m. and the give-away is immediately after at approximately 7:30 p.m.
"Here is another one of those opportunities that only Christ can make possible. I know some of your pantries are open on Saturday. If you can send some of your staff or come after that would be extremely helpful. The amount of food is equivalent to five trucks from the food bank," organizers said.
There will be music, fellowship, and free food. More than 50,000 pounds of food to the hungry and needy will be given away. Bring a lawn chair and someone to help you carry all the food you get. There is no cost to you, but You MUST be present for the program to get a ticket for the food Special appearance by Ronn Jones who has sung on the 700 Club, TBN's "Praise the Lord," and on numerous revival tours.
