Ohio EPA Grants $1.3 million for recycling, litter prevention in SW Ohio; organizations in Adams, Clinton counties to receive funding

Twenty-five governments, businesses, schools and nonprofits in southwest Ohio are receiving $1.3 million in Recycle Ohio Grants. Funding will provide litter prevention and cleanup programs, education and outreach, scrap tire collections, recycling market development, and expansion of recycling processing facilities and infrastructure.
 
Statewide, Ohio EPA is issuing more than $5.9 million in grant funding to 147 recipients, with more than $2.9 million specifically for community and litter prevention programs.
 
Projects funded for program year 2025 include:
 
• Clermont County Park District (Adams, Clermont, Hamilton) – $8,000 for Litter Clean-Up Events, Special Venue Recycling; and

• Clinton County Solid Waste Management District – $44,520 for Litter Clean-Up Events, Tire Amnesty Events and Household Hazardous Waste Collection.
