Ohio Chamber of Commerce PAC Endorses Rep. David Daniels

COLUMBUS – The Ohio Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (OCCPaC) today announced its support of State Representative David Daniels in his primary election campaign for the 17th Senate District.  OCCPaC is the political action committee of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, Ohio's largest and most diverse statewide business advocacy group.

“Representative Daniels’ support for policies that foster job creation during his service in the Ohio General Assembly is unquestioned,” said Andrew E. Doehrel, president & CEO of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce.  “Ohio must create a regulatory and taxation environment that encourages growth, and Dave’s commitment to job creation for all Ohioans clearly makes him the best choice for voters in the 17th Senate District.”

The Ohio Chamber’s endorsement of Representative Daniels is highlighted by his votes for common sense regulatory and legal reform and against unnecessary mandates on businesses that limit their ability to create jobs for Ohioans.

David Daniels commented, “I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. I have worked over the last eight years to support the business community in an effort to foster a pro business climate in Ohio. Only by making Ohio more business friendly will we bring jobs and prosperity back to our state and once again make it the economic leader of our nation."

The Ohio Chamber has been the voice of business in Columbus for more than a century, aggressively championing free enterprise, economic competitiveness and growth for the benefit of all Ohioans.  Chamber members include thousands of individual job providers that are the economic engine for Ohio's communities, schools and families.
