ODOT crews begin early patrols

By
-
Although a forecasted winter storm has yet to hit the region, Ohio Department of Transportation - District 9 crews are ready to go.
Crews from the district's eight county facilities have pre-treated priority routes, and they have continued garage operations to prepare trucks and begin patrols. In addition, a full staff of maintenance crews are scheduled to be on duty during the overnight.
While crews will begin patrolling and treating routes in advance of the storm, motorists are reminded to exercise extreme caution. Freezing rain and ice are expected, making for very slick pavement.
