Military, overseas voting begins for primary election
Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced today that Ohio’s 88 county boards of elections have begun sending ballots to military and overseas voters, officially kicking off the 2026 primary election.
“As a veteran, I believe those who defend our democracy should always have a voice in it,” said Secretary LaRose. “Our accessible resources and continuous focus on supporting all voters ensure Ohioans serving abroad can stay informed and vote securely, no matter where they are.”
Military voters can find everything they need, including ballot request forms, deadlines, and submission instructions, at MilitaryVotes.Ohio.gov. Similarly, civilians currently overseas are encouraged to visit VoterPassport.Ohio.gov.
