Lebanon OSHP Post investing two-vehicle fatal crash

Turtlecreek Township – The Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash that occurred on state Route 741 south of Greentree Road in Turtlecreek Township, Warren County. The crash occurred on April 14 at approximately 11:13 a.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2018 Kenworth T880 truck operated by Franklin B. Gross, 57, of College Corner, Ohio, was traveling north on state Route 741. 

A 2001 Ford F-150 operated by David R. Wills, 69, of Franklin, was traveling south. Mr. Gross traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled left-of-center, striking Mr. Wills head-on.

Gross sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by EMS to Atrium Medical Center. Wills was pronounced deceased on the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lebanon Post.

The Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Turtlecreek Township Fire Department, Ohio Department of Transportation, Warren County Coroner’s Office and Fox Towing.
