Lebanon OSHP Post investigating two-vehicle fatal crash

The Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash. The crash occurred on eastbound state Route 63 near state Route 741 at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22 in Turtle Creek Township, Warren County.

Preliminary investigation revealed a 2012 Mercedes S550, operated by Tyler Desparois, 19, of Lebanon, was traveling eastbound on state Route 63. A 2009 Kia Sedona, operated by Kelly Hitchcock, of Lebanon, was traveling westbound on state Route 63. Mr. Desparois traveled left of center striking Mrs. Hitchcock head on. Both drivers succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. State Route 63 was closed for approximately four hours and has since reopened.  

The crash is currently under investigation by the Lebanon Post.

The Patrol was assisted on scene by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Turtle Creek Township Fire Department, Ohio Department of Transportation, Warren County Coroner’s Office and Case Towing.
