Hillsboro native Kip Williams has returned to Highland County, opening the second office of his business, Kip’s Computer Consulting, LLC, on East
Main Street.
Williams has operated his computer consulting business from 7065 Yockey Road in Georgetown for 14 years.
Born and raised in Hillsboro, Williams is a graduate of Hillsboro High School. He attended the First Baptist Church of Hillsboro throughout his youth. He said that his business is dedicated to the Christian ministry in addition to his computer repair work. After over a decade of serving Brown County, Williams said that he felt an interest in returning to his old hometown.
“We’ve been very successful in Brown County,” Williams said. “We feel there is an untapped resource of those needing computer repair work in the Highland County area who we can serve.”
Kip’s Computer Consulting offers commercial and residential on-site repair work by appointment.
In addition to computer repair, Williams said that the business also offers private instruction for people wanting to learn more about computers or those needing help with their own computers. Williams also provides commercial website design, software and hardware upgrades, and the set-up of wireless networking.
Another special feature the business offers is purchase consulting. According to Williams, people overwhelmed by the process of ordering and setting up a new computer can come to his office. Williams said that he will order the computer, have it delivered to his office, set it up, and have it completely ready for customers to use.
“There’s no job too small or too large for us,” Williams said, noting that his business has assisted “the whole spectrum” of customers, from large department store chains to small residences.
Williams said that his business even offers “free curb service,” going out to customer’s cars and carrying their equipment inside and bringing the equipment back out when customers return.
“Remember bag boys at old grocery store?” Williams said. “We’re trying to return to that concept of customer service.”
Kip’s Computer Consulting is backed by SuperGuarantee, a program helping “consumers to find businesses they can count on to do the job right,” according to the program’s website.
“We do honest, quality work and we do our work to the best of our ability,” Williams said. “Our work is very important to us. This is a full-time, full-service computer company.”
Kip’s Computer Consulting serves Adams, Brown, and Highland counties as well as parts of Clermont and Clinton counties.
Williams can be reached at (937) 205-4034. The Hillsboro office of Kip’s Computer Consulting is located at 137 1/2 East Main Street. For more information, visit www.kipscomputerconsulting.com.
