Jackson Township man arrested after chemicals and marijuana found; two others arrested on outstanding warrants

On Thursday, Aug. 12 at approximately 10 p.m., deputies with the Highland County Sheriff’s Office went to 10306 North Union Road in Jackson Twp., after receiving a tip that Shareena Lovely was at the residence and that there was an outstanding warrant for her from Hillsboro Municipal Court for violating the terms of her probation orders.

Upon arriving at the North Union Road residence, deputies observed Lovely inside the home. Deputies knocked at the door and made contact with the owner of the home, Ronnie D. Rhoads, 45. Rhoads gave permission to deputies to enter the home to apprehend Lovely. Once inside the home, deputies recognized a second female, Linda Boles, 35, of Seaman. Boles current is wanted on an outstanding grand jury indictment from Highland County for Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Criminal Tools. She is also wanted in Kentucky for Manufacturing Methamphetamine. 

During the course of taking the females into custody, deputies observed several components and chemicals used in the illegal manufacture of Methamphetamine. Deputies interviewed Rhoads and obtained permission to search the property for additional components of a lab or other illegal drugs. Deputies located several ingredients and items used in the manufacture of Methamphetamine as well as 115 marijuana plants in an outdoor grow operation ranging from 1 ft. to 6 ft.

Rhoads was placed into custody and charged with Illegal Assembly of Chemicals used to Manufacture Methamphetamine. Lovely and Boles were taken into custody on their respective outstanding warrants. All three were transported to the Highland County Justice Center. The case will remain under investigation and will be presented to an upcoming session of the Highland County Grand Jury where additional charges are expected.
