Iron Rose Rentals is a local tool and hardware store, female owned and operated at 8203 U.S. 50 in Hillsboro.

Iron Rose Rentals offers mower services, blade sharpening, tool rental, kayak rental, hardware, plumbing, electrical, painting, lawn and garden supplies, coffee, snacks and more.

"Our focus within the rural community is to provide our customers with personalized customer service, competitive pricing with convenient accessibility," said business owner Sherry Ratliff.

Ratliff brings 35 years of managerial and accounting experience in a variety of industries, focusing on industrial facility maintenance. Ratliff maintains customer and vendor relationships with integrity and appreciation.

"As a single mother, I understand that it takes a village, and it's the little things that count," Ratliff said. "And it's the small business that truly serves our community. I have a love for the outdoors and enjoy fishing, kayaking, hiking and vacationing with family as often as possible."

Trista is the office manager, assisting with the daily operations of store management and administrative duties. She offers 33 years of customer service and accounting experience. Coming from a military family, she has a unique drive to serve our community with compassion and acceptance. Her passions and hobbies include website design, marketing and photography, focusing on bands, arts and nature.

Dave is the grounds maintenance technician, offering over 40 years of mechanical experience. His wide range of knowledge and valued expertise provides the ability to find simple solutions to complicated problems. His priorities are safety and customer satisfaction, providing direction and advice to serve customers' needs. Dave enjoys the outdoors, fishing, camping and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

The business hours are 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
