Hillsboro Utilities Committee to meet Sept. 3 to discuss sewer increases

The Hillsboro Utilities Committee will meet on Sept. 3 at 5 p.m. at the City Building to discuss the sewer increases.
 
Legislation for the second proposed sewer rate increases in three months was introduced to Hillsboro City Council members during their Thursday, Aug. 13 meeting.

The ordinance authorizing an increase to sewer rates for the city of Hillsboro had its first reading, after council members approved a 10-percent rate increase in May.
