Hillsboro Police Reports
The following incidents have been reported by the Hillsboro Police Department. 
On March 19, Kayla Newman of Hillsboro, driving a 1995 Geo, was backing from a parking space in the 100 block of East Main Street and
struck a 2008 Toyota that was driven by Nathan Hunter of Hillsboro. Newman was cited for improper backing.
Elizabeth Williamson of Hillsboro reported some items had been taken from her purse on Moore Road.
Officers responded to a call in the 800 block of West Main Street of a domestic violence. Upon officers' arrival, a female had been assaulted
and Michael Sholler, Sr. of New Vienna was arrested for domestic violence.
The department received a report of a young child that was unattended at Highland Terrace. Upon arrival, a 2-year-old child was found to
have been outside the apartment for an extended time. Arrested was Fasha Dean of Hillsboro for child endangerment.
Citations for March 19:
Tony Meyer, Wilmington, for disorderly conduct.
Donald McKenzie, Lynchburg, for expired tags.
On March 20, Robert Harless, Jr. of Hillsboro reported his vehicle had been hit while it was parked in the Eagles parking lot.
James Scott of Hillsboro, driving a 1999 Mercury, was traveling southbound on North West Street when he drove left of center and
struck a northbound 2006 Dodge that was being driven by Anne Lerch of Hillsboro. Scott was cited for driving left of center.
Walmart of Hillsboro reported they had a female in the store that had concealed items and left the store. Barbara Shelton of Hillsboro was
arrested for theft and a bench warrant from Clinton County. A 17-year-old female with Shelton was also arrested for theft.

Robin Pitts, Hillsboro, for driving under suspension.
Joshua Keets, Hillsboro, for bench warrant.
Stanley Minzler, Hillsboro, for theft and bench warrant.
Roy Nace, Hillsboro, for possession of marijuana and driving under
suspension.
Ricky Lovely, Hillsboro, for driving under suspension.
James Scott, West Union, for two warrants from OSU Police Dept.,
driving under suspension, and failure to drive in marked lanes.
Clinton Howard, Hillsboro, for fighting.
Matthew Fulton, Wilmington, for fighting.
Kyle Ross, Hillsboro, for fighting.
Citations for March 21:
Timothy Scarberry, Lynchburg, for speed.
Allan Owens, Hillsboro, for warrant.
