Hillsboro Police Report

These incidents have been reported by the HPD.

May 6

Patricia Edwards-Hale, 49, of Martinsville was arrested on an outstanding warrant. 

Roxanne Rankin, 65, of Hillsboro was cited for disorderly conduct.

On May 6 at 11:25 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call of a 2-car crash in the 1400 block of North High Street. Upon arrival, Scott Wayt, 63, of Hillsboro turned right on to North High Street from a parking lot in the 1200 block of North High Street. 

As Wayt was traveling southbound, James David, 79, of Hillsboro turned left out of a parking lot in the 1400 block of North High Street to head southbound and struck the driver side door of Wayt’s vehicle. No injuries were reported on scene. David was issued a citation for right of way on public highways.
