On Wednesday at 11:24 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call of a concerned motorist who was following a vehicle whose operator was suspected of being impaired due to erratic driving. The caller lost sight of the vehicle on East Main Street in Hillsboro. Officers of the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the area and located the vehicle at a residence in the 400 block of East Main Street.
Upon locating the driver, he was found not to be impaired. However, he was identified as Aaron M. Oden, 37, of Lawrenceville, Ga. Mr. Oden was found to have active warrants for possession of drugs and sale of methamphetamine from Rockdale County Sheriff's Office in Georgia. Oden was transferred to the Highland County Justice Center for incarceration while awaiting extradition to Georgia.[[In-content Ad]]
