Hillsboro First Baptist Church is excited to report that their “Diaper Depot” Ministry has distributed over 77,000 disposable diapers to our community since the ministry began four years ago.
This success has been made possible by the generosity of our congregation, grants from the Foundation of Appalachia Ohio, South Central Power Company, and NCB, and support from the Hillsboro Ministerial Association and Hillsboro Emblem Club. Other churches have also organized diaper drives (Hillsboro Church of God and Northview Baptist Church). These partnerships are an amazing example of people working together to meet a need in their community.
The Diaper Depot is open every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 127 S. West Street, Hillsboro. (Park in the parking lot behind the church and enter the building using the basement door off the ramp).
Diapers can be ordered by calling (937) 393-1473 or by using Facebook Messenger or by connecting with us on Highland County Chat. Each person will receive a gift bag of 20 diapers or 10 pull-ups.
The Diaper Depot looks forward to serving even more people. There are no eligibility requirements other than being a Highland County resident – just call ahead to let us know you will be coming. Hillsboro First Baptist Church loves our community – there are no strings attached.
If you would like to become a part of this vital ministry by donating diapers or financial assistance, please contact the Church office, (937) 393-1473 or emailing us at fbcfam@yahoo.com.
