Highland County Sheriff’s Report

These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.    

Jan. 31
 
A deputy responded to the 6600 block of Beechwood Road after a report of breaking and entering. This incident remains under investigation.

Feb. 1
 
A resident of the 6500 block of McCoppin Mill Road reported a domestic disturbance. After investigation, it was determined the altercation was all verbal. One of the parties was found to be wanted by another agency. Mark Shank, 35, of Loveland, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Feb. 2
 
A deputy while on patrol in Paint Twp. observed a vehicle traveling on Robin Hood Lane without a visible license plate. After initiating a traffic stop, it was determined that the driver had a warrant for their arrest. Dru S. McGary Jr., 37, of Hillsboro was arrested on the outstanding warrant and possession of drugs.

Dylan R. Tully, 29, of Peebles, left of center, expired plate, no taillights.

Robert McKinney Jr., 36, of Hillsboro, invalid plate.

Jeffrey A. Puckett, 57, of Sardinia, no taillights.

Chad A. Burgess, 44, of Hillsboro, possession of drugs.
