Highland County Sheriff’s Report

These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.

Jan. 27

A resident of the 5100 block of Washburn Road reported their vehicle stolen. After investigation, the vehicle was reportedly taken by someone known to the owner. The vehicle was recovered in Montgomery County. Charges are pending.

A deputy responded to the 300 block of Dana Ave. in Lynchburg after a report of an unruly juvenile. After speaking to all parties, no charges were filed.

Justin G. Miller, 36, of Coalton, parole violation.

Michael W. Certain, 44, of Greenfield, contempt of court.

Christopher R. Owens, 36, of Hillsboro, failure to appear, contempt of court.

Jason A. McCoy, 50, of Hillsboro, trafficking in drugs.

Seth S. Elliott, 25, of Hillsboro, failure to appear, obstructing official business.

Ernie Haskill, 44, of Hillsboro, driving under suspension.
