Highland County Sheriff's Report
These incidents have been reported by the Highland County Sheriff's Office.
Oct. 11
A resident of the 8100 block of state Route 73 reported the theft of an antique cast iron bell. This incident remains under investigation.
Deputies responded to a report of breaking and entering at a property in the 8200 block of state Route 785.
A resident of the 4400 block of Hughes Road reported a dirt bike and a four wheeler were taken from the property in the last two weeks.
Oct. 12
Deputies responded to the 5600 block of Newton Road after a report of a domestic disturbance between a mother and daughter. After investigation, both parties agreed to separate, no citations issued.
A resident of the 10000 block of North Shore Drive reported the theft of items from a yard sale totaling $600. This incident remains under investigation.
A resident of the 1200 block of state Route 136 reported trespassing on their property. The homeowner had trespassed a male and female prior to the deputy arriving. No charges issued.

Oct. 14
A resident of the 7200 block of Cathy Road reported telecommunication threats made to a juvenile. After a deputy spoke to the complainant, charges were declined.
A deputy responded to the 10000 block of state Route 771 reported the theft of a firearm. This incident remains under investigation.
A deputy responded to the 9500 block of Burns Lane after a report of trespassing. After investigation, it was determined to be a family civil property issue, no charges were pursued.
