Highland County Sheriff's Report

These incidents have been reported by the Highland County Sheriff's Office.

Sept. 1

A deputy responded to the 11000 block of North Shore Drive after a report of a golf cart taken. The golf cart was recovered later in the area. This incident remains under investigation.

A resident of the 6700 block of McCoppin Mill Road reported a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, it was determined one of the parties had already left the scene, charges were declined.

A deputy responded to the 11000 block of Cathy Court to a complaint of an unruly juvenile. After investigation, deputies spoke with the juvenile and parent, charges were declined and the child was returned to the residence.

Sept. 3

Deputies responded to the 2100 block of state Route 131 after a report of trespassing. After investigation, it was determined to be a civil matter. No charges were pursued.

A deputy responded to a reported incident of a reckless driver in the 4500 block of U.S. Route 62. After investigation, charges are pending against a 42 year old female from Highland.
