Highland County Sheriff’s Report

These incidents were reported by the HCSO.

Aug. 8
 
Deputies responded to the 7100 block of Lazy Trail after a report of a domestic disturbance. After investigation, Justin M. Childers, 40, of Hillsboro, was arrested and charged with domestic violence and a probation violation.

A resident of the 10000 block of Pausch Road reported fraud.

A deputy responded to the 11000 block of North Shore Dr, after a report of a disturbance. After investigation, Austin D. Trent, 29, of Hillsboro, was arrested and charged with menacing by stalking. 

Aug. 9

A deputy responded to the 12000 block of Pommert Road after a report of a disorderly person. During the investigation, all parties involved were spoken to, no charges were issued.

Timothy J. Mootz, 21, of Hillsboro, OVI, failure to control.

Joey E. Elsass, 31, of Hillsboro, failure to file for annual registration.

Blake C. Mallow, 21, of Sabina, OVI, aggravated vehicle assault.
