Jan. 23
A resident of the 6500 block of Fascination Way reported a domestic disturbance. After investigation, a juvenile was charged with domestic violence and transported to juvenile detention.
Jan. 24
Deputies responded to the 6600 block of Sleepy Hollow Parkway after a report of a male boarding a Hillsboro City Schools bus while it was at a stop. It was reported the male was upset over reported bullying of his child.
The male was reportedly asked several times to exit the bus by the bus driver and refused. After investigation, Matthew O. Jones, 37, of Hillsboro, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear.
A resident of the 3000 block of Panhandle Road reported the theft of a vehicle. After investigation, the vehicle was located and recovered. Skyler A. Long, 21, of Lynchburg was charged with receiving stolen property, concealing or destroy VIN, obstructing official business and criminal damaging.
A deputy responded to a report of an assault in the 2700 block of U.S. Route 50. After investigation, Nicholas Dolph, 40, of Hillsboro, was charged with assault.
