Highland County Sheriff’s Report
These incidents were reported by the HCSO.
July 13
A deputy while on patrol in Whiteoak Twp. observed a male driving a vehicle who was known to have a suspended driving status and active warrants. The deputy attempted a traffic stop, however the driver refused to stop and attempted to flee the area. After a short pursuit, the driver came to a stop and attempted to flee on foot until coming to a fence he could not climb.
The male identified as Christopher A. Hutchinson, 57, of Sardinia, was taken in to custody and charged with driving under suspension, failure to comply, drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and invalid license plate.
July 14
A resident of the 600 block of Robbins Road reported fraud.
A deputy responded to the 10000 block of North Shore Dr. after a report of a B&E. This incident remains under investigation.
A resident of the 4200 block of South St., Russell Station, reported a domestic disturbance. After investigation, the caller refused charges, both parties agreed to separate.
