Highland County Sheriff’s Report

June 18

A deputy responded to the 10000 block of East Berrysville Road after a report of a domestic disturbance. After investigation, Dawn Jones, 58, of Hillsboro was charged with domestic violence.

A deputy on patrol in Madison Twp. observed a male exit a vehicle and run in the area of Jefferson and 6th St. in Greenfield. The deputy exited his patrol vehicle and gave several commands for the male to stop. The male identified as John R. Kushner, 38, of Milford eventually complied and stopped. It was determined Kushner had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for drug possession charges. Kushner was arrested and transported to the Highland County Justice Center.

Jacob D. Cooper, 30, of Leesburg, failure to appear, possession of drugs.
