Highland County Sheriff’s Report

These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.

March 28
 
Deputies responded to the 6400 block of Sleepy Hollow Pkwy. after a report of a prowler. During the investigation, the caller admitted to being under the influence of narcotics. Brenda S. Jett, 53, of Hillsboro was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

A resident of N. High St., Mowrystown, reported a domestic disturbance. After investigation, no charges were issued, both parties were advised to separate for the evening.

A deputy responded to the 12000 block of North Shore Drive after a report of vandalism. This incident remains under investigation.

March 29
 
A deputy responded to the 10000 block of Mad River Road after a report of a male walking down the roadway carrying a firearm. After investigation, Natha A. McCabe, 26, of Hillsboro, was charged with having weapons while intoxicated.

Lester M. Leffler, 57, of Hillsboro, driving under suspension.
