Highland County Sheriff’s Report

These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.    

March 14
 
A deputy responded to the 6900 block of state Route 753 after a report of vandalism. This incident remains under investigation.

A resident of the 4100 block of Sharpsville Road reported telecommunications harassment.

A resident of the 2400 block of Ruble Cemetery Road reported a burglary. This incident remains under investigation.

March 15
 
Deputies responded to the 9500 block of Dade Road after a report of a domestic dispute. After investigation, it was determined the person causing the disturbance was a family member not residing there. The male was trespassed from the property.

Rachel N. Simpson, 29, of Martinsville, possession of a fentanyl related compound.

Skyler D. South, 31, of Hillsboro, possession of drugs.

Matthew O. Jones, 37, of Hillsboro, failure to appear.

Timmy L. Howard, 29, of Hillsboro, failure to appear.

Jonathon E. Proffitt, 52, of Hillsboro, disorderly conduct.
