Highland County Sheriff’s Report
These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.
March 7
A deputy responded to the 8900 block of state Route 753 after a report of a neighbor dispute resulting from animals running at large. No charges were issued at this time. Parties were advised of laws regarding securing animals.
A resident of the 2700 block of Stephan Road reported a disturbance. After investigation, it was determined a female was being disorderly. The caller declined charges. The female was transported to Highland District Hospital by Paint Creek squad for treatment of a self-inflicted injury.
Deputies responded to the 7400 block of Evans Road after a report of a domestic disturbance. After investigation, John W. Sayre, 46, of Hillsboro, was charged with domestic violence.
March 8
A deputy while on patrol in Paint Twp. observed a vehicle cross the centerline, then leave the roadway traveling through a ditch and coming to rest in a parking lot in the 11000 block of North Shore Drive.
The driver, identified as Kyle R. Doehr, 40, of Wilmington was charged with OVI, operating a vehicle without a valid license, failure to stay in marked lanes, failure to control, and menacing.
Deputies responded to the 600 block of W. Main St., to assist Leesburg Police after a report of an impaired person being disorderly. After investigation, Joseph S. Hill, 25, of Leesburg was charged with disorderly conduct, and obstructing official business.
