The public is invited to review the preliminary floodplain map and learn about risk in our community and your home.  Those interested may drop in at any time during the event to talk one on one with FEMA and State ODNR representatives.

Highland County Flood Risk Information Open House is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 16 from 4-7 p.m. in the large conference room at the Highland County Administration Building, 114 Governor Foraker Place, Hillsboro.

You will be able to obtain information on ways you can protect your home and loved ones from future flooding and information on flood insurance coverage.

Property owners, Realtors, lenders and insurance agents are urged to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about flood risk and hazard mitigation within our community.[[In-content Ad]]
