Highland County Chamber golf outing set for Sept. 18
The Highland County Chamber of Commerce will host its 36th annual golf outing on Friday, Sept. 18 at Buckeye Hills Country Club. Proceeds from the outing allows the Chamber to support their initiatives of advocating for the business community while promoting economic and community development.
This year, to accommodate more teams, the Chamber has added a second flight to the day. Each flight will consist of 25 teams. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. for the AM flight, and the shot-gun start will take place at 9 a.m. Registration for the PM flight will begin at 1 p.m., and shot-gun start will take place at 2 p.m.
The tournament features 18 holes, various activities on the holes and lunch. There will also be raffle items that will include a variety of items, including golf items, entertainment packages, family packages, spa and salon packages, and much more. Participants will be able to enter various competitions held in conjunction with the tournament for prizes, including hole-in-one, poker run, putting and closest to the pin contests. Prizes and awards will be given the week following the tournament.
The AM flight is currently sold out, but there are a few spots left in the PM flight. Space is limited. Registration is $400 for a team of four. Hole sponsorships are also available for $100.
