Heartland hosts annual chili challenge

Heartland of Hillsboro, Kroger, NCB, Hillsboro Ponderosa Steak House, Wilkin-Wilkin Insurance, Terri Frazer State Farm Insurance, Buckeye Country 105.5 FM, and The Highland County Press are sponsoring the sixth annual chili supper and dessert auction Thursday, March 4 from 5-7 p.m. at the Old Ponderosa Banquet Center on South High Street in Hillsboro.
All proceeds go to the Highland County Society for Children and Adults.
Tickets ($5 for adults, $3 for children under 10) are available at the following locations: Heartland of Hillsboro, Kroger, NCB, Hillsboro Ponderosa Steak House, Wilkin-Wilkin Insurance, Buckeye Country 105.5 FM, and The Highland County Press or at the door.

A chili challenge, with local celebrity judges, will be held 2 p.m. Feb 24 at Heartland of Hillsboro. There will be two categories, hot and mild.
