There’s always a lot going on in the Greenfield Exempted Village School District, and the upcoming State of the District is a great opportunity for the community to find out what is happening.

This year the event will be held in the McClain cafeteria on March 13 at 6 p.m. and will focus on six specific topics. Each of these topics, along with some brief information, will be revealed in the days leading up to the event via posts to the district’s Facebook and Instagram.

These topics will include policies and how they impact the district, academic and other opportunities for students, funding and other financial information, and facilities.

Please check out the daily topic posts and the information provided. It’s food for thought and should help community members not only glimpse the scope of the event, but also form their own questions.

“What a great opportunity to learn facts about the district and ask questions,” superintendent Quincey Gray said. She added that the event, which will include herself and other staff members, will end with a tour of McClain High School for those interested.
