August 16th, 2026

Offenses/Incidents

At 2:09 A.M., a resident in the 1100 block of Sycamore Circle reported a juvenile complaint.

At 2:20 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop at Flagway 12. The driver, David Butcher, 40, of Londonderry, was cited for driving under suspension.

At 3:45 A.M., a resident in the 1100 block of Sycamore Circle reported a juvenile complaint.

At 6:58 A.M., a resident in the 300 block of North 2nd Street reported a disturbance.

At 9:06 P.M., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked behind the Greenfield Vet Clinic. After investigation, it was discovered to be an employee.

Arrests/Citations

David Butcher, 40, of Londonderry, was cited for driving under suspension.

August 17th, 2026

Offenses/Incidents

At 1:28 A.M., while on patrol in the alley North of Fifth Third Bank an officer located a male slumped against a fence. The male checked ok.

At 1:45 A.M., a resident in the 1200 block of Greenhills Drive reported a noise complaint.

At 3:19 A.M., while on patrol near the elementary playground, an officer heard yelling. Four subjects were requested to vacate the premises.

At 9:37 A.M., First United Methodist Church reported a female trespassing. The female was gone prior to an officer's arrival.

At 2:32 P.M., while on patrol in the 400 block of Evans Street, an officer was flagged down by an individual reporting an open door of a residence. The residence was cleared.

At 9:11 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised Paint Creek Fire/EMS was enroute to a residence in the 500 block of Dickey Avenue for a suicidal female.

August 18th, 2026

Offenses/Incidents

At 5:52 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Jefferson Street. The driver, Samantha Fitzpatrick, 33, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension and headlights required.

At 7:06 P.M., a resident in the 900 block of Mirabeau Street was issued a 10-day trash notice.

At 8:36 P.M., Burger King reported a disturbance. A male was warned for trespass.

At 9:56 P.M., while on patrol in the 300 block of Jefferson Street, an officer observed a verbal argument. The matter was resolved civilly. 

At 10:40 P.M., a caller reported a suspicious occupied black van parked at the library. The vehicle was gone prior to an officer's arrival.

August 19th, 2026

Offenses/Incidents

At 12:28 A.M., a resident in the 900 block of North Street reported a disturbance.

At 10:31 A.M., a caller at Shear Miracles reported threats/harassment.

At 3:35 P.M., a caller at the Greenfield Cemetery reported a suspicious black minivan. The vehicle left prior to an officer's arrival.

At 4:20 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised Paint Creek Fire/EMS was enroute to the 200 block of McClain Avenue for a lawn mower on fire.

At 6:36 P.M., resident in the 400 block of Spring Street reported suspicious male. The male left prior to an officer's arrival.

At 6:51 P.M., a caller advised of an audible alarm from a residence in the 200 block of North 11th Street. Everything checked ok.

At 7:41 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office requested an officer to respond to a residence in the 200 block of North 11th Street for a lift assist.

At 9:14 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on North 5th Street near Lafayette Street. The driver, Kelly Meredith, 30, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension.

August 20th, 2026

Offenses/Incidents

At 1:16 A.M., a caller reported a silver Dodge Charger traveling at a high rate of speed on Lyndon Avenue and South 6th Street. An officer patrolled the area.

At 11:25 A.M., a 10-day trash notice was issued to a resident in the 1000 block of Mirabeau Street.

August 21st, 2026

Offenses/Incidents

At 12:21 A.M., Chillicothe Fire and Security advised of an alarm activation at the Greenfield Elementary School. An exterior door was found unsecured.

At 4:58 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Jefferson Street. The driver, Jacob Moore, 22, of Leesburg, was cited for speed.

At 7:49 A.M., Southern Hills Community Bank reported a male trespassing. The male was requested to vacate the premises.

At 11:19 A.M., resident in the 1000 block of Mirabeau Street reported a male trespassing. The male and caller were gone prior to an officer's arrival.

At 12:00 P.M., the First United Methodist Church reported a female trespassing. The female was warned for trespass.

At 12:13 P.M., Greenfield Skilled Nursing reported elder abuse. After investigation, the incident was determined to be unfounded.

At 2:13 P.M., a caller reported a female and male trespassing at Greenfield Mini Storage. Both parties were gone prior to an officer's arrival.

At 3:10 P.M., a caller advised of a male in the 500 block of McKell Avenue, soliciting for pest control service without a permit. The male was advised accordingly.

At 3:49 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised a caller reported being tailgated by a blue Kia on S.R. 41, headed towards the village.

At 7:30 P.M., an officer attempted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Jefferson Street on a motorcycle. The motorcyclist fled from the officer eastbound on Jefferson Street and continued into Ross County. The vehicle pursuit was later terminated due to losing sight of the motorcylist.

At 8:00 P.M., a caller at Mitchell's parked reported an occupied suspicious silver car parked at Mitchell's Park. The occupant checked ok.

At 9:36 P.M., a caller reported a possible fire at Adient. After investigation, it was determined to be a smoke stack.

Jacob Moore, 22, of Leesburg, was cited for speed.

Offenses/Incidents

At 10:59 A.M., a resident in the 800 block of Jefferson Street reported threats/harassment. This incident remains under investigation.

At 2:44 A.M., a resident in the 500 block of Spring Street reported theft of medication. This incident remains under investigation.

At 10:07 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of South 10th Street. The driver, Shawn Jones, 49, of Greenfield, was cited for failure to reinstate and head lights required.
