February 1st, 2026
Offenses/Incidents
At 12:10 A.M., Chillicothe Fire and Security advised of a commercial burglary alarm activation at the Greenfield Elementary School. The building was cleared.
At 12:19 A.M., a resident in the 300 block of Ludlow Avenue reported a noise complaint.
At 1:09 A.M., a caller reported a possible intoxicated male walking in the 400 block of North Street. The male was transported to his residence and released to a sober party.
At 5:06 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street near 4th Street. The driver was warned for following too closely and an obstructed license plate.
At 7:18 A.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a 911 hang-up in the 100 block of South 4th Street. Officers located the caller, who checked ok.
At 10:40 A.M., a caller in the 800 block of McClain Avenue reported a water leak emergency.
At 1:06 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of North 5th Street. The driver was warned.
At 5:28 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Officer advised of a 911-transfer from a resident in the 1000 block of McClain Avenue, reporting threats/harassment. This incident remains under investigation.
At 6:36 P.M., a resident in the 300 block of North Street reported a disturbance. All parties were advised accordingly.
At 7:00 P.M., while on patrol on North 4th Street near North Street, an officer observed a suspicious male. The male later checked ok.
At 11:00 P.M., a resident in the 700 block of Jefferson reported a water leak emergency at their residence.
Arrests/Citations
Joseph Campanero, 19, of Chillicothe, was cited for disorderly conduct by fighting.
Elijah Jackson, 27, of Chillicothe, was cited for disorderly conduct by fighting.
Michael Ruff, 24, of Chillicothe, was cited for disorderly conduct by fighting.
Matthew Roush, 23, of Greenfield, was cited for assault and discharging firearms.
Joshua Belt, 19, of Frankfort, was arrested for two counts of aggravated menacing and two counts of telecommunication harassment.

Offenses/Incidents
At 12:14 A.M., a resident in the 700 block of Mirabeau Street requested extra patrol for the area.
At 2:41 A.M., while on patrol near Burger King, an officer located a disabled vehicle that had been parked in Burger King's parking lot.
At 7:08 A.M., while on patrol on South 6th Street near South Street an officer located an illegally parked vehicle. The driver was warned for parking the opposite direction, parking at a stop sign, and impeding the traffic flow.
At 10:30 A.M., the Chillicothe Police Department requested an officer attempt contact at a residence in the 900 block of Mirabeau Street for a reported missing person. The occupants advised they did not know the individual.
At 10:35 A.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a 911 hangup in the 400 block of Beatty Street. The residents checked ok.
At 1:54 P.M., the Ohio State Highway Patrol advised of a white Chevy Equinox driving recklessly on S. R. 138 near Cope Road, heading towards the village. Officers patrolled the area.
At 2:15 P.M., a caller in the 300 block of South 5th Street reported an animal complaint.
At 6:11 P.M., a caller parked at the Armory requested assistance unlocking their vehicle. An officer was unable to gain entry.
At 6:43 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on South McArthur Way near Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for an obstructed license plate.
At 8:36 P.M., a resident in the 300 block of Mill Street reported a civil complaint.
At 8:44 P.M., a resident in the 700 block of Mirabeau Street reported threats/harassment.
At 9:54 P.M., a resident in the 500 block of Edgewood Avenue reported a water leak emergency at their residence.
At 11:38 P.M., a caller in the 200-300 blocks of Jefferson Street reported they had located the missing juvenile male out of Hillsboro. The juvenile male was transported to the Greenfield Police Department and reunited with his parents.

Hailey Matney, 21, of Bainbridge, was arrested for a probation violation.
Edwin O. King, 54, of Washington Court House, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.

Offenses/Incidents
At 1:04 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street in front of Save A Lot. After investigation, multiple items of drug paraphernalia, suspected narcotics, and a firearm were located inside the vehicle. The suspected narcotics will be sent off for analysis. The driver, Jan Chaney, 43, Frankfort was arrested for failure to display, driving under suspension, expired license plates, possession of drug paraphernalia, and having weapons while under disability.
At 6:40 A.M., an officer responded to a residence in the 200 block of North 2nd Street for a warrant service. Donnie Jenkins, 49, Mount Sterling was arrested on failure to appear warrant for aggravated possession of methamphetamine out of the Highland County Sheriff's Office.
At 9:00 A.M., Robbins Village Florist reported a male had brandished a firearm at them and the male fled the scene in a white Lincoln truck. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of North 4th Street. After investigation, Zarek Stanfield, 21, Greenfield was arrested for domestic violence and aggravated menacing.
At 9:31 A.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a 911-hangup in the 100 block of North Street. The residents checked ok.
At 1:42 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of North Street. The driver was warned for failure to obey a traffic control device.
At 2:15 P.M., the Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home requested assistance with a funeral procession.
At 5:06 P.M., a caller reported suspected trespassing at a residence in the 600 block of Pine Street.
At 6:08 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop North 7th Street near Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for a moving violation.
At 7:18 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office requested an officer to respond to a residence in the 700 block of Carford Pike for a male threatening self-harm with a firearm. Assistance was given.
At 10:12 P.M., a caller in the 800 block of Spring Street reported a known male trespassing on their property. The male left prior to an officer's arrival. Everyone was advised accordingly.
At 11:29 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a 911-transfer with an open line domestic complaint in the 300 block of Mirabeau Street. Everyone was warned for disorderly conduct.

Jan Chaney, 43, of Frankfort, was arrested for failure to display, driving under suspension, expired license plates, possession of drug paraphernalia, and having weapons while under disability.

At 3:52 A.M., while on patrol in the 700 block of Jefferson Street and officer located a vehicle with its trunk left open. The officer made contact with the registered owner and secured the trunk.
At 4:08 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on North Washington Street near the cemetery. The driver was warned for an equipment violation.
At 4:51 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on North Washington Street near North Street. The driver was warned for a moving violation.
At 7:03 A.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of an emergency call from the elevator inside the Greenfield Middle School. Everything checked ok.
At 7:42 A.M., a resident in the 800 block of North 4th Street reported an animal complaint.
At 12:10 P.M., an officer responded to the intersection of South Washington Street and South Street for a disabled vehicle.
At 1:50 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a 911-hangup in the 200 block of North 11th Street. All parties were advised accordingly.
At 4:40 P.M., a caller reported property damage to their vehicle. After investigation, it was determined the damage had occurred in the Village of Leesburg, Ohio.
At 7:38 P.M., a caller reported a parking complaint on Spring Street near North 4th Street.
At 8:39 P.M., a caller reported a reckless driver on S. R. 41 North heading towards the village. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Mill Street near North 5th Street. After investigation, the driver, Sarah Rhynard, 43, Dayton was arrested for OVI and failure to stop at stop bar.
At 9:22 P.M., a caller in the 300 block of South 7th Street reported a theft of his wallet. After investigation it was determined the caller was intoxicated and transported to the Greenfield Adena ER by Paint Creek Fire and EMS.
At 11:16 P.M., a resident in the 600 block of Lyndon Avenue reported her vehicle was stuck in the roadway. Assistance was given.

Offenses/Incidents
At 6:55 A.M., the Jefferson Street Business Center requested security check of their establishment. The building was cleared.
At 10:37 A.M., an officer conducted a welfare check on two individuals at Community Markets. Both checked ok.
At 2:25 P.M., a caller in the 600 block of Lyndon Avenue reported a suspicious male in the alley. After investigation it was determined the male's work vehicle was stuck and awaiting a wrecker service.
At 3:59 P.M., a resident in the 300 block of South Washington Street reported a suspicious male. After investigation it was determined the male was representing an energy company, going door to door.
At 4:42 P.M., a caller reported a parking complaint in the area of North 6th Street and McClain Avenue.
At 4:47 P.M., an individual reported suspicious vehicle where the driver attempted to have a female juvenile enter the vehicle in the area of South Street and South 6th Street. This incident remains under investigation.
At 7:13 P.M., a caller in the area of S.R. 753 near Mitchell's Park reported a property damage accident.
At 9:08 P.M., a caller at Flagway 16 reported a suspicious male. The male checked ok.
At 9:49 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street near North 4th Street. The driver, Trevor Roades 31, Greenfield, was cited for right of way at stop sign.
At 11:35 P.M., Trinity Financial Services reported they had repossessed a vehicle within the village.

At 5:47 A.M., while on patrol on South 6th Street near the railroad tracks an officer located a damaged manhole cover.
At 10:06 A.M., a caller in the 100 block of North 6th Street reported a motor vehicle crash involving their vehicle.
At 3:50 P.M., a caller at Burger King reported a motor vehicle crash involving their vehicle.
At 5:32 P.M., the Leesburg Police Department requested an officer to make contact with a resident in the 500 block of McKell Avenue and to have them contact their station.

At 12:10 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on S. R. 753 near Mitchell's Park. The driver was warned for an equipment violation.
At 3:09 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on South McArthur Way near Mirabeau Street. The driver was warned for no illumination of the rear license plate.
At 5:40 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop at McDonalds. The driver was warned for an equipment violation.
At 10:17 A.M., a resident in the 700 block of Spring Street reported a theft. This incident remains under investigation.
At 3:04 P.M., the Murray Fettro Funeral Home requested assistance with a funeral procession.
At 5:54 P.M., while on patrol in the 100 block of North Washington Street observed a disabled vehicle. The vehicle was removed from the roadway.
At 6:56 P.M., the Greenfield First United Methodist Church requested extra patrol for 400 block of South Street.
At 7:04 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of South 5th Street. The driver was warned for a moving violation.
At 7:25 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Street. The driver was warned for an equipment violation.

At 8:29 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of North Washington Street. The driver was warned for an equipment violation.
At 8:47 P.M., a caller in the area of Jefferson Street and 7th Street reported a strong odor of natural gas. Paint Creek Fire and EMS responded to investigate and determined to be a gas leak in the 100 block of South 7th Street.
At 9:01 P.M., a resident in the 700 block of Mirabeau Street requested EMS. The Highland County Sheriff's Office was advised.
At 9:09 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of North Washington Street. The driver, Mikayla Goble, 29, Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension and no license plate light. The passenger, Kelton Williams, 30, South Salem, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
At 11:49 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop at the Shell Gas Station.
