August 9th, 2026
Offenses/Incidents
At 1:15 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on S.R. 41 near Corvac. The driver, Jacob Fricke, 41, of Spring Valley, was cited for display of license plate.
At 6:41 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of Jefferson Street. The driver, Tiffany Hunley, 40, of Greenfield, was cited for speed.
At 12:14 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on S.R. 753 near Dairy Nook. The driver, Joseph Schrimper, 48 of Hillsboro, was cited for marked lanes.
At 1:08 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop at Save A Lot. The driver, Tyler Mathews, 29 of South Salem, was arrested on a warrant out of the Fayette County Sheriff's Office for Grand Theft.
At 4:20 P.M., a caller reported a suspicious male on in the area of North 4th Street and Lafayette Street. An officer patrolled the area.
At 5:01 P.M., a caller in the 500 block of North 4th Street reported a civil complaint.
At 5:29 P.M., an individual reported a trash complaint in the 1000 block of McClain Avenue.
At 7:01 P.M., residents reported an odor of burning trash from the 600 block of Dunlap Lane. An officer patrolled the area.
At 11:28 P.M., a resident in the 1000 block of McClain Avenue reported threats/harassment. This incident remains under investigation.
Arrests/Citations
Jacob Fricke, 41, of Spring Valley, was cited for display of license plate.

August 10th, 2026
Offenses/Incidents
At 12:28 A.M., officers responded to a residence in the 1000 block of McClain Avenue. A male fled on foot from officers after being given commands to stop, initiating a foot pursuit. After a brief moment the male was taken into custody. Jeffery Burgess, 41, of Greenfield, was arrested for telecommunications harassment and resisting arrest.
At 8:23 A.M., the First United Methodist Church reported a known female trespassing. The female was warned of trespass.
At 12:07 P.M., individuals reported an assault involving juveniles that occurred at a football game on August 8th. This incident remains under investigation.
At 12:35 P.M., Children Protective Services requested assistance at a residence in the 600 block of Jefferson. A search warrant was executed on the property. After investigation, Christina Woods, 30, of Greenfield, was arrested for endangering children. Dakota Farmer, 32, of Greenfield, was arrested for endangering children. Angel Gore, 50, of Greenfield, was arrested for endangering children.
At 12:41 P.M., Dominos reported trespassing and theft of electricity. A male was warned of trespass and theft.
At 3:00 P.M., a resident in the 700 block of Mirabeau Street reported a trash complaint.
At 4:01 P.M., Chillicothe Fire and Security advised of an alarm activation at Weastec.
At 9:14 P.M., a resident in the 200 block of Spring Street reported threats/harassment. This incident remains under investigation.
Arrests/Citations
Jeffery Burgess, 41, of Greenfield, was arrested for telecommunications harassment and resisting arrest.
16-year-old female, was cited for failure to control.
Christina Woods, 30, of Greenfield, was arrested for endangering children.
Dakota Farmer, 32, of Greenfield, was arrested for endangering children.
Angel Gore, 50, of Greenfield, was arrested for endangering children.

At 12:11 A.M., a caller at Greenway Mini Storage Units reported a domestic complaint. The parties were separated.
At 12:37 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on S.R. 28. The driver, Marshall Heiss, 44, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension and failure to signal prior to 100 feet.
At 6:13 A.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised Paint Creek Fire/EMS was enroute fire in the 1000 block of Lafayette Street. Assistance was given.
At 7:05 P.M., a caller reported a dark blue SUV driving recklessly, traveling on S.R. 41 near S.R. 28, headed towards the village. The vehicle was located and an officer conducted a traffic stop. The driver, Michael Pummill, 74, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension and operating a vehicle impaired.
At 7:33 P.M., a resident in the 300 block of North 4th Street reported a disturbance. An officer patrolled the area.
At 8:15 P.M., a caller reported a suspicious male on the S.R. 28 bridge. The male checked ok.

Marshall Heiss, 44, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension and failure to signal prior to 100 feet.
Michael Pummill, 74, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension and operating a vehicle impaired.

Offenses/Incidents
At 12:43 A.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a 911 transfer reporting a neighbor complaint in the 300 block of Mirabeau Street.
At 1:23 A.M., Greystone Security advised of an alarm activation at Merchants National Bank. Everything checked ok.
At 1:36 P.M., a resident in the 400 block of Lafayette Street was issued a 10-day trash notice.

Offenses/Incidents
At 1:46 A.M., while on patrol in the alley North of McDonalds an officer located a male with active arrest warrants. Levi Williams, 30, of Greenfield, was arrested for telecommunication harassment and criminal trespass.
At 8:03 A.M., a caller reported a gray minivan traveling recklessly on S.R. 41, headed towards the village.
At 10:46 A.M., a resident in the 100 block of Smith Street reported two females trespassing. The females were warned for trespass.
At 12:24 P.M., a caller reported a white Chevy Silverado traveling recklessly on S.R. 28.
At 1:50 P.M., Reach for Tomorrow reported a male previously trespassing.
At 10:20 P.M., a caller in the 300 block of North Street reported a domestic complaint. Both parties were warned for disorderly conduct.
Arrests/Citations
Levi Williams, 30, of Greenfield, was arrested for telecommunication harassment and criminal trespass.
Joshua Knisley, 52, of Chillicothe, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
Nathaniel Freeman, 36, Chillicothe, was arrested for importuning and two counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.

At 2:44 A.M., a resident in the 500 block of South 2nd Street reported a disturbance.
At 1:30 P.M., a caller reported an occupied suspicious vehicle parked on Thrifton Road near the bridge. The occupant checked ok.
At 2:25 P.M., a caller reported a white Dodge had thrown a can from the vehicle and was traveling recklessly on S.R. 28, headed towards the village.
At 8:55 P.M., a caller at Reach for Tomorrow reported a male was inside of their vehicle. The male was warned for trespass.

At 2:11 A.M., a caller in the 500 block of South Street reported an assault. This incident remains under investigation.
At 12:32 P.M., a resident in the 500 block of Dickey Avenue reported a disturbance. After investigation, Bethany Moore, 44, of Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant out of the Ross County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear.
At 12:33 P.M., a resident in the 12000 block of Rupple Road reported threats/harassment. Caller was referred to the Highland County Sheriff's Office.
At 6:05 P.M., a caller in the 100 block of Smith Street reported an animal complaint. This incident remains under investigation.
At 6:30 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Mirabeau Street near South 2nd Street. The driver, Kimberly Penwell, 56, of South Salem, was arrested on a warrant for violation of court orders and driving under suspension.
At 8:42 P.M., a caller reported threats/harassment.
At 11:43 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on S.R. 41 near S.R. 28. The driver, Marshall Heiss, 44, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension.
